Jane Clarke

Jane is a highly experienced and effective physiotherapist, who loves working with people and helping them understand how their bodies function and heal. Jane graduated from the University of West of England, Bristol in 1998. She has developed extensive experience working in many different specialities, such as musculo-skeletal outpatients, orthopaedics, rheumatology and chronic pain. Jane went on to complete a Masters at Bath University in 2007.

Jane’s special interests include:

• Sports Injuries; such as Ilio-tibial band friction syndrome, Patellar and Achilles tendinopathy, hamstring tears, groin strain and more.

• Spinal complaints, whiplash, degenerative joints, disc prolapses, muscular pain, radiating nerve pain. • Joint pain such as shoulder, elbow, hip and knee discomfort.

• Pregnancy and post childbirth related conditions (back and pelvic pain and stress incontinence) • Rheumatology (such as rheumatoid arthritis, complex regional pain syndrome, osteoporosis, hypermobility and fibromyalgia),

• Chronic pain management including treatment of young people with pain conditions, fibromyalgia and complex regional pain syndrome.

Jane is a keen runner and a member of Corsham Running club, where she is regularly involved in coaching beginners and improvers courses. (She is a Qualified English Athletics coach) She has excellent links with GP’s, consultants, personal trainers, podiatrists, yoga and Pilates teachers in the area.
