Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession that helps promote a faster recovery with lasting results. Our physiotherapists assist patients in restoring normal function and movement to the body, which in turn, helps reduce pain levels.
Physical disorders may be caused by injuries, medical conditions, developmental disability or simply the stress of busy lives.
People of all ages and activity levels can benefit from physiotherapy to help improve their quality of life and prevent future problems. Our physiotherapists use a variety of techniques to help your muscles and joints work to their full potential, helping to repair damage by speeding up the healing process, whilst reducing pain and stiffness.

Techniques our physiotherapists use include:

Our physiotherapists encourage and support patients to return to normal following trauma, illness, surgery or disease. This is often described as ‘rehabilitation’.
So whether your problem is a sprained ankle, back pain, sports injury, women’s health, injury at work or many other different conditions, our Physiotherapists can help you to get better.
Physiotherapists are experts in movement and function. They work in partnership with patients, assisting them to overcome physical disorders, which may have arisen from either a road traffic accident, an underlying medical condition, spinal problems, arthritis, a developmental disability, sports injuries or simply the stress of our busy lives.
At your initial visit, one of our physiotherapists will discuss the pattern and history of your symptoms with you, perform a physical assessment and then use their clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills to formulate a specific treatment programme.

You may benefit from physiotherapy at any time in your life

People of all ages and activity levels can benefit from physiotherapy to help improve their quality of life and prevent future problems.
Many people first encounter a physiotherapist after being referred for physiotherapy post-operatively following orthopaedic surgery.
Physiotherapists have to be registered with The Health and Care Professions Council. This is a regulatory body and ensures anyone using the title “Physiotherapist” is qualified to do so and takes part in continued development to maintain their skill and expertise, retaining their fitness to practice. All our Physiotherapists are HCPC Registered.
