South-West Osteopath needed

Location: Swindon     Job Type: Part-time

Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Osteopath to join Carl Todd Clinics in Swindon.

As one of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating and evaluating private patients. You will work alongside our experienced Osteopaths, Physiotherapists, Acupuncturists, Sports Therapists and Podiatrists.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about osteopathy, and enjoys working closely with patients to help them improve their quality of life. You will be an ambitious individual, willing to learn and work as a part of a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal applicants will have solid structural manipulation skills and the desire to develop pre-existing skills. You will have excellent communication and clinical reasoning, while knowledge of acupuncture, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, movement and exercise rehabilitation would be useful but not necessarily essential.
Your role will include:
Performing comprehensive assessments to diagnose patients presenting with both common and complex conditions.

Clinical reasoning to support the provision of appropriate treatment and rehabilitation .

Although being a team member, having the ability to work autonomously, taking responsibility for your own patients, caseloads and treatments.

Maintaining patient documents and records on Cliniko (training can be provided, but previous experience using Cliniko is advantageous).
Essential skills and qualifications:
Previous experience working within a clinic or as an Osteopath

BSc or MSc in Osteopathy

Current GOsC Registration

Excellent communication skills

Great interpersonal skills

Good working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook

Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage patient cases

Ability to work independently

Corsham - Pickwick Park

Corsham was our first clinic which opened in 2003. It was previously located in the village of Box (just down the hill from Corsham), but in 2010 we relocated to Pickwick Park just off the A4 to larger premises. The Corsham clinic has three fully equipped treatment rooms and a Pilates/rehabilitation studio upstairs. Parking is available on site.

Swindon - The Courtyard

Our Swindon clinic was opened in 2003 and then relocated to The Courtyard in South Marston in 2013, as we needed bigger premises. The clinic has three fully equipped treatment rooms with a Pilates/rehabilitation studio located upstairs with parking available on site.
